Amaretto Carrots
1 lb. baby carrots
3 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. amaretto liqueur
1/4 tsp.
cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/3 c. sliced almonds
salt and pepper to
taste
Place carrots in heavy sauce pan with the butter and gently
cook about 8 minutes or until tender-crisp. Stir occasionally. Add the
amaretto, spices, salt and pepper. Cover and cook over low heat 3 minutes.
Stir in almonds and serve.
