PET POLICY
Our furry family members that are able to be carried at all times may come into the museum and the store.

2 acorn squash
8 oz. crushed pineapple
2/3 c. chopped pecans
2/3 c.
chopped dates
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
salt to taste
Slice squash in half and take out seeds. Place upside
down in large pan and add 1/2 c. water. Bake 40-45 minutes at 375º or until
tender. Mix rest of ingredients together and fill cavities of squash. return
to oven and back15 more minutes more. Absolutely delicious!!!
ACORN
SQUASH WITH NUTS AND APPLES...
Follow recipe above but instead of
pineapple, use 2 apples, peeled and chopped and 1Tbsp. honey. Raisins can be
substituted for dates.
