Peanut Butter Pecan Pie

Yes, Zee's Pecan Pie was the winner in our Pecan Pie contest, but the men who were judging those many different ones, picked this as the runner-up!

 

3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. dark Karo syrup
3/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 c. chunky peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. pecans
9" unbaked pie crust

Beat eggs slightly. Add Karo, sugar, butter, peanut butter, and vanilla and stir until blended. Add nuts. Pour into pie crust. Bake at 350º for 50 to 55 minutes or when knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Cool on wire rack.
