PET POLICY
Our furry family members that are able to be carried at all times may come into the museum and the store.

2 sq. semisweet chocolate
2 Tbsp. butter
2 c. light brown sugar
1/2
c. half and half
1 Tbsp. amaretto
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped
toasted pecans
4 firm ripe pears
Melt chocolate with butter in
double boiler. Stir in brown sugar, vanilla and half and half. Cook until
mixture is blended and smooth. Remove from heat, add amaretto, cover to keep
warm. Cut pears in half lengthwise and remove core. Place in microwave-safe
dish and microwave about 6 minutes until pears are tender but not soft.
Place pears cut side up on dessert plates and spoon chocolate sauce over the
top and sprinkle with nuts.
