PET POLICY
Our furry family members that are able to be carried at all times may come into the museum and the store.

3/4 c butter | |
1 c. sugar | |
1 c. cooked, mashed carrots | |
1 egg | |
1 tsp vanilla | |
2 c. flour | |
2 tsp baking powder | |
1/2 tsp salt | |
3/4 c. chopped pecans | |
orange icing |
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and beat until
fluffy. Add carrots and vanilla. Add flour mixed with baking powder and
salt. Mix well. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375º
for 8 to 10 minutes until lightly golden. Cool 5 minutes and remove from
pan.
ORANGE ICING: Mix together 1 Tbsp. butter, 4 Tbsp. orange juice,
grated rind of 1 orange and 1 1/4 c. confectioner’s sugar. Mix until smooth
and spread on cooled cookies.
