PET POLICY
Our furry family members that are able to be carried at all times may come into the museum and the store.

1 heaping cup sugar
1 heaping cup butter
4 eggs
1 cup ground
almonds (toast in oven then grind before measuring)
1 tsp salt
2 TBL
cinnamon
4 cups flour
3 tsp almond extract
1 ½ tsp vanilla
Cream together sugar and butter. Add eggs. In another bowl, mix ground
almonds, salt, cinnamon and flour. Add to sugar-butter-eggs mixture Add
almond extract and vanilla. Combine. Chill dough for several hours or
overnight.
Dust counter with flour. Take a small ball of dough and
roll it very thin. Cut out shapes. Transfer to baking sheet.
Bake at
350 for 10-12 minutes until brown around the edges. Let cool.
Frost
cookies with mixture of powdered sugar and a little milk and food coloring.
Sprinkle with decorations.
