PET POLICY
Our furry family members that are able to be carried at all times may come into the museum and the store.

3/4 c. shortening 1 c.
sugar
2 eggs 1
T. milk
1 tsp. vanilla 2
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder 1/2
tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt 1
c. pecans, chopped
3/4 c. maraschino cherries, chopped 1 c. dates,
chopped
10 maraschino cherries, quartered 2 ½ c. crushed
cornflakes
Cream shortening and sugar. Blend in eggs, milk and vanilla. Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt together and add to creamed mixture. Stir in pecans, dates and chopped cherries. Shape by teaspoonfuls into balls and roll in crushed cornflakes. Place balls on cookie sheet and top each ball with 1/4 cherry. Bake at 375º for 10-12 minutes.
