for the Leavenworth Nutcracker Museum

WHAT’S HAPPENING AT THE MUSEUM…

RAFFLE FOR STEINBACK CAMELOT SERIES.  A donation of $10.00 to the Leavenworth Nutcracker Museum will give you a chance to win the 5-piece Steinbach Camelot Series, a value of $2500.00.  Included in the set is Merlin who has sold for as much as $5000.00, the beautiful Queen Guinevere, his majesty King Arthur signed by Herr Steinbach, Handsome Sir Galahad and the Romantic Sir Lancelot.  Drawing will be on December 18, 2021 at 4:00 p.m.  You do not need to be present to win.

SPECIAL PRICE ON WOODEN TOY SOLDIER NUTCRACKER.  We want everyone to have this Ulbricht Toy Soldier nutcracker which you can actually use to crack the nuts you need for your holiday cookies and candies.  It usually sells for $202.00, but if you buy the Nutcracker Lady’s Introduction to Nutcrackers for $12.95, you can get the wooden toy soldier like that featured in the book for only an additional $159.95.

SPECIAL ON ULBRICHT SEAHAWKS NUTCRACKER…It was at the suggestion of the Nutcracker Lady that the FOOTBALLER nutcracker be painted in the colors of Northwest’s favorite sports team.  As a thank you, the Nutcracker Museum was sent the lowest numbers of this limited edition.  And to all those who are backers of this team, the Nutcracker Lady Gift Shop is offering the Footballer in Seahawks colors for a saving of $100.00.  Just show us an article of clothing, a bag, a card, etc that shows you are a fan, and  you will receive the discount.

ATTENTION QUILTMAKERS…Paul Anderson of Utah has been commissioned to craft an Amish Quilter nutcracker for the museum, but he needs a 10” by 12” quilt.  We are asking quilt makers to help us, and each person who sends in a quilt will receive 4 free admission tickets to the museum.  Judges will choose one quilt which will accompany the nutcracker.  The others will be displayed in a collage behind the nutcracker, each with the name of the maker.  The winner will receive a copy of The Art & Character of Nutcrackers, (priced at $60.00) and a special Nutcracker Lady’s tour of the Museum for 10 people. These small quilts must be received at the museum by December 1.  A ceremony will be held Sunday, December 5 at 3:00 p.m. announcing the winner.

OUR SHOPPING BAGS ARE A TREMENDOUS SUCCESS.  Priced at only $3.95, this is a shopping bag that you will proudly use over and over again as it features a colorful Leavenworth photo by Andy Jaynes, a brilliant young Washington photographer.  It also shows various  nutcrackers and pertinent information about the museum.  Buy several for your friends too as they will love them.

Our Mission Statement

"To foster and encourage the interest of the general public of the importance of nuts in the diets of humans throughout history and in the evolution of the nutcracker. No other tool or collectible has shown such a wide diversity of material and design as the implements used to crack the hard shell of a nut".
