I’m throwing a party on December 8,
A hundred year-birthday to celebrate
You’re welcome to come, friend, student or kin
Whether young or old, chubby or thin

It’s at Icicle Inn, so remember the date
I’ll have coffee and tea, and a big birthday cake
A DJ will play music while we reminisce
A Diva with songs you won’t want to miss

But you must come dressed in some decorative rag
Be it PJ’s or Tux, or an old laundry bag
My friend Carol and I will be shaking a lot
In those fringy black costumes from Amazon we bought

Now don’t bring a gift cause I’m giving away
Prepping for that inevitable day
But I’d like a signed photo of how you do look
I’ll look at it often in my new birthday book

So come anytime starting at 2
We’ll end early at 5 like old people do
Now remember I’m old and may not remember
It’s a very long time from May to December
