Nutcracker Museum

Bavarian Leavenworth, Washington

School Class Field Trips are Welcome!

Teachers are always looking for for fun and interesting things to do with their children. This is a great activity for children. It's educational and it's also quite fun for them.

After the welcome and introduction by the attendant, the children will go on a "nutcracker hunt".  they will receive a list of nutcrackers that they are to find throughout the museum. (with over 6000 nutcrackers this is more challenging than you think) All nutcrackers in the museum are in a glass enclosed case for your peace of mind and to keep little fingers away from the valuable peaces.

When the list is filled each student will get a "I found the Crackers" pin.  A minimum charge of $1.00 will be made for each student.  Teachers will be admitted free and parents accompanying students can make a donation.

To begin with your planning, please complete the following form.

Thank you for your interest in the Leavenworth Nutcracker Museum!

The maximum capacity for a single visit is 30 children.

If your class is larger, or you have more than one class you would like to bring we would love to have them. Just divide them up into separate groups of 30 or less and we'll schedule them!

Helpful Hints:

It is very important that the children not bring any food or chewing gum of any kind with them into the museum. We do not offer a public restroom facility. However, right across the street in the park there are public restrooms. This works out very well as long as you know this in advance and can plan for it.
